Training Resources

From our headquarters in Basildon, MHS is proud to offer state of the art training and hands-on practice with fully working models of some of our boilers.

Our Training room is equipped with 5 operational boilers, including Ultramax, Strata 1, Streamline and Euron Wall mounted boilers as well as a R601 Floor Standing boiler. We also have a Pisces Electronic Minifill pressurisation unit available in the training room. Cut-away heat exchangers and boiler components are also used as training aids. All units are operational and may be worked on without fear of damage to the units or the surrounding area. Computer interfacing is also available for each unit to allow the candidates to view and alter as necessary:

Operating parameters to accurately match the operation of the unit to the specific system requirements.
Real time data logging for advanced fault finding
Retrieval of all operations and faults to assist with preventative maintenance.
Review stored service data remote from boiler.

Depending on existing technical ability, candidates will receive training on the principles of condensing boilers. In addition, there is detailed tuition on the boilers design and operation. This covers a range of topics from premix combustion to appliance control strategy and operational sequences to component fault diagnosis and replacement

The training will also cover a session on commissioning, servicing and fault finding instruction with ‘hands-on’ experience in our purpose built Training Room, as appropriate. MHS can cater for groups of up to six people (4 persons minimum), lunch will be provided and every candidate receives a full set of course notes, technical information to take away and a Certificate of Attendance. Under certain circumstances we can offer bespoke in-house or onsite training but this is strictly subject to availability of Training personnel and location of site. Please contact us with details and requirements as each request will be reviewed on an individual basis.
